I'd hear about the qawwali three days late, or miss the supper club entirely because it was buried in someone's Instagram stories. Awaargi is the newsletter I wish I'd had two years ago, and the one I now write for everyone else who's tired of hunting.
Every Tuesday, I pull the week into one clear edit: the dinners, shows, talks, parties, and gatherings I'd send to a friend.
Awaargi (آوارگی) means wandering, and to me it means curiosity in motion. The word lives across Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi poetic vocabulary. Pronounced ah waar gee.
